Connect Through PLAY!
Child-Parent Relationship Training
A Parenting Skills Group Based on Relationship-Building and Play
This group is for parents and caregivers of children ages 2.5 to 10. You may be a good fit for this group if you…
Are always yelling. You wish your kid would just listen.
Feel disconnected from your kid. Sometimes it’s like they’re speaking a different language.
Worry about your kid’s self-esteem. They seem anxious a lot and you wish they were more confident in themselves.
Could just use some community and support. Parenting is exhausting!
In this group, you will work to…
learn skills and strategies to help you understand your child’s emotional needs
develop your child’s self-control and self-esteem
effectively discipline and limit inappropriate behavior
communicate more effectively with your child
feel more in control as a parent
What to Expect…
Your First Step:
Your first step is to send us a message or schedule a phone consultation and we will plan to call you this week. We’ll talk for about 20 minutes about your family and whether this group is the right solution for you. A new group is starting this month, so reach out soon to secure your spot!
The group will be…
A supportive space to learn and receive feedback on new parenting skills
Virtual meetings on Mondays OR Fridays from 11:30am-1pm
10-week course, $50 per session for your family (more than one parent/caregiver can join each session for this price!)
Commit to practice your new skills with ‘homework’ that is a half hour or less each week
Many of our clients find a deeper connection with their kid, with just an extra half hour of quality time per week! This program is evidence-based and has been shown to reduce parental stress, improve parent-child bonds, and reduce problem behaviors.
